Description

After a 3-1 week, the offense is trending in the right direction while the defense is still languishing. Shot profile and TOVs/OREBs are the key to both improving.

We’ve developed a new analysis tool call Points/Possession Swing. We define it, explain its use, and look at the Jazz season through its lens. It’s an important key to achieving their goals this season.

We compare each Jazz-man’s season performance to that of last year using FiveThirtyEight’s RAPTOR statistic. Donovan is soaring, Joe is languishing, and the bench is terrible. What has to change?
